There's something rather important that happened to me yesterday, and I would like to share it with you.

[ Konoka brightened to see a text from Marie. However, the strong notice that something else was going on put her on alert. ]

I hope you remember Sanson - the man who occasionally visits the cafe and whose birthday we have organized a party for.

As you know, I am now on a vacation, as he invited me along. Yesterday, he... confessed his feelings for me, and I discovered that I, myself, do return them. Hence we are now a couple!

But that is not all, dear Konoka. I would never dedicate my life to only one person. I do love him dearly, but I also love a lot more people. Especially you, Konoka.

He had been understanding of the fact our relationship should be kept open, and either of us can see other people if we have a penchant for it. In my case, nothing about my relationship with you will change. You are still my beloved pet.

Oh! Congratulations, My Queen!

[ The fact that her Queen had a true lover all along... and it seemed that it was that nice, if slightly silly, man she met a while back. Konoka's happy for her. ]

I'm glad you managed to find a true date. I know we've discussed the nature of an open relationship before, if briefly. I'm glad to remain your pet, and I'll be cheering you on with your boyfriend!

[ She won't lie, she's glad nothing changes between her and Marie, and that's partially why she can be so happy for her. But this 'freedom to share' has nothing but upsides. She'll champion it to the end of time. ]
