"Hey y'all! This is Konoka! Sorry I can't come to the phone, so drop me a message and I'll get back in touch okay?"

For: Zelda (Action)
Hiya, Zelda-han!
[ Konoka, ever the cheerful one, was dressed a bit lighter than Zelda and seemed to have wedge sandals that would more than likely help her match the other woman's height. But more than that, she'd look... pretty impressed at how formal Zelda was. ]
Gosh, for someone drunk you're really holding it together. I guess I'll be your guide for a lil' while, huh? Let's get the paint on first!
OMG I love her swimsuit and sandals!
[She flushed a little. Not only at the compliment but because one had ever painted her body before. Zelda had dabbled in the arts but she wasn't an artist by any means. She wondered if she could do well enough on Konoka.]
How would you like me to stand?
Thanks! :3
[ She would gently usher Zelda toward a tent to go apply their paint, if they hadn't moved into one already. Only when they were away from prying eyes did Konoka actually answer Zelda's question. ]
I guess the best place to start is the stomach. I can't call myself an artist, though. You want somethin' in particular? A pattern, or a theme?
Re: Thanks! :3
R... right.
[She allowed Konoha to guide her in the right direction, looking behind them to watch the tent flap close once they were inside. Then she perked up with the question at the first thing that popped into her mind; the Silent Princess.]
I wouldn't suppose you'd be able to paint a flower?
no subject
[ Konoka at first had the basic idea to just draw the first kind of flower that came to mind, but decided to check with Zelda while she gathered the materials. ]
What kind of flower did you have in mind? Could you describe it to me?
no subject
[She brings a hand up to clutch at her breast]
One could say, I have a sort of an affinity for it.
no subject
[ She doesn't know how much that's worth, but she'll definitely try.
Konoka brings the painting supplies over, and dips one brush to start her work... right on Zelda's torso. ]
Stay still for me, okay?
no subject
I'm sure you'll do wonderful!
[Despite the cold, making her want to squirm, she managed to hold still by focusing on the look of concentration that Konoka had on her face as she started to paint the flower. Zelda couldn't help but think that she's kind of pretty.
no subject
Wow, you're good at holdin' still, yeah? I think this is comin' together...
[ It won't be long, but Konoka is also largely drawing on her torso. She wonders what she could do for Zelda's limbs, or maybe even her face... ]
no subject
It's from many years of sitting as a figurehead while my father attended to duties in Court.
[Zelda doesn't mind her torso, or even her limbs painted, but please don't paint her face!]
no subject
[ And then she realizes something from Zelda's statement, just as she finishes. ]
Ah, does that mean you're royalty?!
[ Konoka wouldn't fly into apologies, as most she knew would probably find that annoying. Still, Zelda's answer might influence how she'd treat her. ]
no subject
Which she just realized she had let drop. Zelda had been somewhat careful who she told, as there was always the risk of assassins and those looking to ransom her off. Maybe not as common in this world, but it was how she was raised. There was also the fact that people tended to treat her differently.]
I am. I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule.
[Which it looked like Konoka might do.]
Please, I hope this doesn't affect our interactions.

[ Konoka, for a little bit, gazed at Zelda. Somehow, this woman was drunk, and yet disciplined enough to have that regal bearing holding her back even despite all of that. Well, mostly.
She's all too familiar with royalty having to put distance between them and the people. Asuna flipped out when Setsuna so much as bowed in her presence, which was funny but probably a bit painful for someone like Zelda. When she thought of it that way, her being this drunk was the closest to freedom she'd get.
So Konoka simply added this. ]
But really, that doesn't matter out here, does it? You're still Zelda-han to me.
sorry so late getting back to you!
You have my gratitude.
[She wasn't sure if Konoha was done with her painting so she continued to stand still. She was still smiling though.]
Would you like me to paint you when you're finished?
no subject
[ Konoka hadn't planned on it, but since Zelda offered, she wasn't about to turn it down.
Konoka next worked on painting Zelda's limbs, going for a vine motif. It was basic, but surely it would look pretty underwater, right? ]
So Zelda, what's one thing you found here that you wish you had at home?
For me? Probably breathin' underwater without expendin' magic.
no subject
[She blinked and looked away.]
Friends... not friends that double as subjects, but real friends...
no subject
[ Konoka feels a little silly for not having as 'important' an answer as Zelda's, but then again it might be because Konoka was a bit luckier than most. It was not her fault, after all. ]
Well, I'm glad you have those friends here.
[ She's done with the arms now! Maybe a little detail on the legs, too... ]
I miss my friends at home, so I'm thankful I've made some here. It makes missing them easier to bear.
no subject
She glanced at the detailing on her arms and smiled. It was beautiful.]
Well, now you have yet another.
[Hopefully, Konoka would understand that? Zelda wasn't the best at casual interactions.]
no subject
Aw, thank you!
[ She's finishing up the last vine pattern on the leg when she speaks again. ]
Having friends is wonderful. Sometimes I wonder how I'd survive without them, even with just their memories.
[ Painting complete. ]
There. I'm finished! How does it look.
